How to reset a Netgear router admin password?

If you want to change the Netgear router admin password then you have to enable password recovery. By doing this, you can recover the password if it is forgotten. To set password recovery, firstly open an internet browser and go to Netgear router login screen. Press Enter button and you are prompted to a login window. Now you have to enter router username and password. The username is admin and the default password is password. When the Basic Home screen displays, just select “Advance” option.
